My biggest takeaways from the Eagles, Bills blowout wins

Monday night football in the NFL is nothing less than spectacular but I’d argue week 2 of the Monday night games were kinda boring because of the blowout wins were not used to seeing in this league, especially between good teams. Let’s go through my biggest takeaways from each team and what this means for them.

    Philadelphia Eagles vs Minnesota Vikings

Was this game more of a Kirk Cousins in primetime issue or the Eagles are that good? I’d argue it’s both actually, Kirk Cousins on monday night primetime games is 2-10 and can’t seem to get past it as he threw three interceptions last night and just looked horrible overall, the Vikings are a good team but maybe not as good as we thought after their spectacular win over Green Bay in week 1. The Eagles on the other hand looked great, specifically Jalen Hurts who had a monster first half throwing and running the football, Hurts had three touchdowns in the first half and that’s all the Eagles needed for the win, this Eagles team is definitely a top 3 NFC team for the year and look like the best NFC team right now.

    Tennessee Titans vs Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills routed the Tennessee Titans thanks to new offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey stepping in and showing what he’s capable of. The Bills offense was humming, scoring 41 points and scoring the most points through the first two weeks of the NFL season. As for the Titans this team is in trouble for the fact that Derrick Henry can’t save this team anymore, Henry in the past has been able to run this team to a top seed in the AFC conference but with the team being stripped of some offensive pieces the Titans are solely relying on Henry to carry them on the offensive side of the ball and opposing defenses know that now.
