Ranking the NFL’s winless teams

With the NFL season heading into week 3 let’s look at all the winless teams and so far several teams that haven’t gotten a win yet. Out of these seven teams who should be worried about their season and their chance to turn around their season and make the playoffs. Historically 0-2 teams have over a 75% chance of missing the playoffs

  1. Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders are on paper a phenomenal team and can easily make the playoffs but their schedule and division is one of the toughest in the league, I don’t see them making the playoffs due to the AFC being so good and the Raiders already being 0-2.

  1. Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals are like the Raiders, on paper a great team and coming off a super bowl loss last season usually the loser of the super bowl has a “hangover” and the team doesn’t come close to what they did the following year, That being said the Bengals still have a chance to make the playoffs because the AFC North isn’t playing well as a whole.

  1. Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts coming into this season was seen as a sleeper AFC team with new QB Matt Ryan but things haven’t gone to plan as they tied in overtime with the Texans and got shutout by the Jaguars last week. Like the Bengals the Colts can still win this division due to the AFC South being one of the weakest divisions in football right now.

  1. Tennessee Titans

The Titans are a decent team but playing a hard schedule throughout the year and losing many pieces in the offseason the Titans just aren’t the team they used to be for the last three year and even in the AFC South I don’t see them making the playoffs.

  1. Carolina Panthers

The Panthers have a shot to make the playoffs as the NFC is in shambles right now with no teams looking like “world beaters”. As the Panthers are 0-2 they still have a shot to make the playoffs if newly acquired QB Baker Mayfield can mesh with this offense.

  1. Houston Texans

The Houston Texans are cooked, we already knew that but it had to be said, the Texans are still in a full rebuild but are starting to be viable in some of their games which Texans fans must feel somewhat good considering what’s happened to their team in the last three years.

  1. Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons are going to be a bottom three team in the league as most predicted this season, from losing many pieces in the offseason to playing in a decent division the Falcons are heading into a reboot and everyone knows it.
