Thursday night’s Amazon prime game will kick start week 4 of the NFL season with the Miami Dolphins facing off against the Cincinnati Bengals, with the Bengals hungry to get back on track in the AFC North. The red hot Dolphins and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa are playing as well as he’s ever had under rookie head coach Mike McDaniels, this Dolphins team is off to a great 3-0 start leading the AFC and tied with the Philadelphia Eagles for the best record in the NFL.
Each team definitely has a X-Factor which could be a game changer, let’s go through what each team’s factor is. For the Dolphins their key to winning this game is getting pressure with just a simple four man blitz, with this fins team deep at the corner position and a having an above average pass rush this game could be somewhat low scoring if Miami can shut down the Bengals receivers and force pressure on Joe Burrow and the Bengals to run the ball more than usual.
The X-Factor for the Bengals winning this game is shutting down Miami’s top receivers in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, now your not gonna completely stop the duo of Hill and Waddle but if you can hold the receivers to under 125 receiving yards combined this could be a recipe for the Bengals to win this matchup.
If I was to bet this game I would take Miami to win outright for the fact that the Bengals corners are at best average, the Bengals offensive line have been subpar when facing a average pass rush and or defense, and the momentum Miami has right now has them playing at the top of their game week in and week out. Now it is concerning with Tua’s back injury but it looks like he’s good to go for Thursday night according to reports.
