Previewing the Panthers Falcons,Thursday night game

Heading into week 10 of the NFL season the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons will tip off on Thursday night and likely be another great primetime game. The last time these two met in week 8 they had an epic showdown as the Falcons barely squeaked out the win in overtime with the game winning field goal.

The Carolina Panthers have been one of the most disappointing teams, this season with firing head coach Matt Rhule, trading superstar running back Christian Mccaffrey and having a quarterback carousel throughout the year this Panthers team looks to build for their future, the Falcons have been one of the more surprising teams this year as they have been in close games pretty much every week and have upset some teams and other weeks.

The biggest X Factor for the Panthers to win this game is setting up a running game and passing the ball downfield via play action with Falcons corner AJ Terrell being out for this game, this panthers offense should really look to throw the ball and take advantage of a weak Falcons secondary.

The biggest X Factor for the Falcons is running the ball as multiple defensive lineman are out for the Panthers and the Falcons having the third best running game in the league which is rather surprising, but the Falcons should also look to use play action with the Falcons great playmakers in tight end Kyle Pitts and rookie receiver Drake London, Marcus Mariota has also been one of the more surprising quarterbacks this year as he has clearly had a great comeback season.

Overall I predict this to be a very close game, but I do have the Falcons winning 24-21.
