How good is the East divisions in the NFL actually

Starting with the NFC East which is widely considered the best division in football as of right now, let’s go through each team and discuss how good they actually are. 

So with the division leader Philadelphia eagles, they are widely considered to be the top NFC team and one of the best rosters in the NFL as of right now. The New York Giants who are 7-2 and have proven to be a good not great team week end and week out I do believe this team has had a couple things go their way in these games which have led to wins but nonetheless they are a good team. 

The Dallas Cowboys who are 6-3 are also considered to be one of the top NFC teams and are Super Bowl contenders, they have the best defense in the NFL as of right now and if they’re offense could be a touch better Dallas could be a team to watch out for. Finally the 5-5 Washington commanders who just defeated the Eagles on Monday night football in week 10, they are a good not great team like the Giants, and have an unproven quarterback who looks to be limited but otherwise have a decent roster all around.

Next we have the AFC East which is going to come down to the wire as of who’s going to win that division and potentially get a bye in the playoffs. As of right now, the Miami Dolphins have the best record in the division at 7-3 the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets are a close 6-3 and the 4-5 New England Patriots are just behind those three teams. The Miami Dolphins have one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL today with super star receivers and big name defensive players. 

The Buffalo Bills have arguably a top two quarterback in the league in Josh Allen alongside a great pass rush and also an explosive offense. The New York Jets who are one of the more surprising teams in the league this year, have been mostly a defensive story, with a good not great offense led by quarterback Zach Wilson who looks to be struggling thus far in his second year. And lastly the New England Patriots who are also a defensive lead team coached by Bill Belichick who weekend and week out can beat any team but don’t have the big names on their roster like the other AFC East teams in their division.
