Reviewing the Titans Cowboys, Thursday night game

With week 17 starting in the NFL season, we have a primetime matchup of the Dallas Cowboys, taking on the Tennessee Titans on Amazon prime. With the Cowboys still fighting for higher playoff seeding, and the Tennessee Titans fighting for their playoff lives. Each team has extra motivation to win this game. Let’s go through each half of football and give my overall thoughts of the game.

In the first quarter the Dallas Cowboys scored rather quickly with a Ezekiel Elliott run into the end zone to give Dallas a 7-0 lead in the ball game, in the second quarter Dallas forced a fumble on the Titans that gave them great field position in Dallas came out with a field goal as they took a quick 10-0 lead. The Titans did drive down the field and kick two field goals to make it a one score game going into half time.

In the second half Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott struggled as he let the Titans stay in the game for the most part throwing two interceptions but with Dallas pulling away in the fourth quarter scoring 10 points with a Ezekiel Elliott rushing touchdown once again and a field goal this Dallas team put away the Titans late in the fourth. Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz had a really nice game as he had two touchdowns and has really made a late season push as to why he should get paid in free agency this summer.

Overall, my prediction was right as I had the Cowboys winning rather comfortably. The Dallas Cowboys beat the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night football 27-13 as Dallas advances to 12-4 as the Tennessee Titans fall to 7-9 and likely have lost their playoff hopes.
