The Chicago Bears just made a franchise altering move in trading the number one overall pick to the Carolina Panthers in exchange for a slew of picks and players. The Panthers are just one of the handful of teams that have traded for the first overall pick and gave up a king’s ransom to get it.

Obviously this is an absolute haul to give up for the number one pick that doesn’t have a sure fire quarterback like a Andrew Luck, Trevor Lawerance or Peyton Manning, most are saying this quarterback draft is closer to last years draft were there were a few good quarterbacks but no great quarterbacks.
If the Panthers could get a superstar quarterback then this will be a great trade but this could be a bad all in move by Carolina. The Panthers have a good all around roster but have been missing the superstar quarterback that most of last year’s playoff team had.
