With the NFL free agency window in day 5 we had a few big signings and player signings/trades and teams breaking the bank to sure up their teams to make a Super Bowl run. With over sixty players already signed we’ll go over the top three teams that have made the best and biggest moves thus far.
First off we had Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Jonah Williams request a trade from the organization shortly after the Bengals signed free agent tackle Orlando Brown Jr to a multi year deal. Williams is one of the better left tackles in the league and will left a decent salary on the open market.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released multiple players today in running back Leonard Fournette and tight end Cameron Brate who were both huge contributors to the Buccaneers 2021 Super Bowl win, both are expected to have limited markets.
The New England Patriots have made some moves as they’ve signed tight end Mike Gesicki to a one year $9 million dollar deal to pair with tight end Hunter Henry and newly signed JuJu Smith-Schuster. The Patriots also cut cornerback Jalen Mills who was on the Patriots for the last two seasons, this now clears $5 million in cap space for the Pats.
