New York Jets add receiver Mecole Hardman

The New York Jets have added another wide receiver to their already impressive lineup of receivers on the offensive end, the Jets have signed free agent Mecole Hardman to a one year deal. Hardman will join a very deep receiver core of Garrett Wilson, Elijah Moore, Denzel Mims, Corey Davis and newly added Allen Lazard, this gives the Jets another set of hands and a much needed deep threat on offense in which Hardman was utilized for the last couple years in Kansas City.

With Hardman being one of the top deep  threats in the NFL this will add another dimension to the Jets offense in which they haven’t had for the last couple years, with all the news and reports surrounding Aaron Rodgers joining the Jets this should give him another reason to join the already loaded skill position group in New York.

This is a buy low type of deal for the Jets as Hardman missed most of the year with a pelvic injury that limited Mecole to a handful of games and another injury in the Super Bowl limited Hardman’s market as he has had trouble staying healthy in the last couple seasons.

With the Jets having possibly the deepest skill position group in the NFL they make look to move off of wide receiver Elijah Moore as they try to trade for superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Moore did request a trade last season but the Jets didn’t seem to shop Moore so he will now be available again possibly.
