Jets trade Elijah Moore to Cleveland Browns

The New York Jets have officially traded wide receiver Elijah Moore to the Cleveland Browns, the details of this trade is the Browns receive receiver Elijah Moore and a 2023 third round pick and the Jets will receive a 2023 second round pick.

This is a great deal for the Browns as Moore is very capable of being a number two receiver to star Amari Cooper, Moore was one of the top prospects in the 2021 NFL draft as he was the No 34 overall pick taken by the Jets. Coming out of college Moore had unlimited potential as he was one of the top receivers taken in the draft but after a slew of bad quarterback play and a lack of touches on the field Moore was fed up and requested a trade from the team last year.

With the Jets adding another wide receiver in Mecole Hardman from the Chiefs it was a no brainer that the Jets were going to move off of Elijah. This will now clear $1.47 million in cap space for the Jets and will give the Browns another top target for Deshaun Watson next season. The Browns now have the 74th overall pick as the Jets traded up to No 42 in this years draft.
