With NFL free agency winding down we are starting to see less and less players sign to new teams as teams have spent the last of their cap space ahead of the NFL draft in the coming months. Let’s go through the biggest signings and whatnot over the last 24 hours.
First off we had superstar right tackle Lane Johnson sign a one year $33 million dollar extension to stay with the Philadelphia Eagles through the 2026 season. This one year deal is also giving Johnson $30 million fully guaranteed and will keep him in Philadelphia for the foreseeable future.
We also had another player sign with the Eagles and that was free agent safety Terrell Edmunds who signed a one year worth over five million and will sure up the Eagles secondary after star safety C.J Garnerer-Johnson left to join the Detroit Lions.
Next up we had wide receiver DJ Chark join the Carolina Panthers on a one year deal with the compensation still disclosed. Chark will join a loaded skill position group in Carolina where the Panthers traded away star receiver D.J Moore and have since been adding veteran players in Adam Thielen, Miles Sanders and Hayden Hurst.
Lastly we had the Baltimore Ravens add veteran wide receiver Nelson Agholor who signed a one year $3.25 million dollar contract, Agholor will now be headed to Baltimore as he is joining a AFC rival in the Ravens, with Baltimore being wide receiver needy this was a big get for the AFC contender.
