With the NFL having an explosive day with lots of off-season moving starting to be made we had lots of signings, franchise tags and news coming out about players futures with their current teams. Let’s go through each of the players and the news that broke regarding their future in the NFL.
Derek Carr
Carr signed a four year $150 million dollar contract with the New Orleans Saints that brings Carr into a very open NFC South and which makes the Saints a now playoff contender in a weak NFC.
Tony Pollard
Breakout star running back Tony Pollard was franchise tagged by the Dallas Cowboys and will play under the tag most likely, Pollard had a monster year with Cowboys and will look to stay there long term.
Calvin Ridley
Ridley was suspended by the NFL for gambling on a game back in 2021 and hasn’t played since, Ridley was then traded from the Atlanta Falcons to the Jacksonville Jaguars in which he was reinstated today by the NFL, making him available to play next season.
Eric Kendricks
Kendricks is an all pro player back in 2019 and now will be a free agent as he was released from the Minessota Vikings earlier Monday morning, Kendricks was apart of the worst defense in the NFL last season and will now look for a new home.
Allen Robinson
Robinson was granted permission by the Los Angeles Rams to seek a trade as the Rams seem to be clearing cap space and heading towards a rebuild, Robinson had a down year last season but is looking to start fresh with a new team.
