NBA top 3 players of the night

This list is based on the games played on Sunday nights, this list is not based on who had the most points, it’s about who had the best impact on the floor, all things considered.

  1. Giannis Antetokounmpo

With this series pretty much over Giannis and the Bucks put the Bulls away in game 4 with a 119-95 win to take a 3-1 series lead with a chance to end it on Wednesday. The Greek Freak had a cool 32, 17, 7 and 2 blocks, even with all star Khris Middleton being out the Bucks have still been handling business. Giannis and the Bucks have mostly handled the Bulls this series with blowout wins in the Bucks favor every game besides game 2. Since Middleton has been down some Bucks players have been stepping up like Grayson Allen and Bobby Portis.

  1. Jimmy Butler

Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat handled business once again against the Trae Young led Atlanta Hawks, with another blowout win last night {110-86} the Heat are up 3-1 in this series and are looking to put Atlanta away rather quickly. Jimmy Buckets had a nice game with 36, 10, 4 with 4 steals and a block. The Heat have put the clamps on Trae Young this series and with another bad game by Young {9 points on 3-11 shooting} the Hawks have been awful when Trae plays poorly.

  1. Nikola Jokic

Jokic and the Nuggets survive and push this series to a game 5 thanks to Nikola Jokics 37 points on high efficiency. Even with Steph Curry scoring 33 points off the bench it still wasn’t enough for the Warriors to put the Nuggets away for good, five different Nuggets players scored in double digits last night including Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordan, Monte Morris, Bones Hyland, and DeMarcus Cousins. Even with Curry and Klay Thompson combining for 55 points it still wasn’t enough.

NBA top 3 players of the night

This list is based on the games played on Saturday nights games, this list is not based on who had the most points, it’s about who had the best impact on the floor, all things considered.

  1. Jayson Tatum

Tatum and the Boston Celtics take a 3-0 lead with a 109-103 win over the Brooklyn Nets last night and it looks like this series is pretty much over. Tatum had a magnificent game, leading the team in points with 39, with also 5 boards, 6 assists and a team high 6 steals. With game 4 taking place on Monday the Celtics will look to end this series rather quickly and move into round 2, it’s reported Ben Simmons will be back for game 4 making his long-awaited Nets debut but there’s no tape to see what impact Simmons will have on that Brooklyn team.

  1. Karl-Anthony Towns

Karl-Anthony Towns came to play in game 4, evening up the series 2-2 with a monster game of 33 points and 14 boards with also a few assists as well, this series has been chippy for the most part so far with each team trash talking one another, giving it that old school rivalry. With Towns and the Timberwolves having a rough game 3 they were looking to bounce back in a big way in game 4 and they did exactly just that, with Game 5 taking place on Tuesday night in Memphis both teams will be looking to take a commanding 3-2 lead.

  1. Pascal Siakam

Spicy P and the Toronto Raptors hold on to avoid getting swept in this first round series against the Joel Embiid led 76ers with a 110-102 win in game 4. Siakam had a great game filling up the stat sheet with 34 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, a steal and 2 blocks on decent mid range shooting {52.6%}. With game 5 heading back into Philadelphia the Sixers will look to end the series in a gentleman’s sweep, With Fred VanVleet getting hurt in the first half this Raptors team is nothing short of a big underdog to the 76ers.

NBA top 3 players of the night

This list is based on the games played on Friday nights games, this list is not based on who had the most points, it’s about who had the best impact on the floor all things considered.

  1. Chris Paul

With Devin Booker being out for the next couple weeks Suns leader Chris Paul has to come up big and he did last night, securing the 114-111 win over the New Orleans Pelicans to take a series lead of 2-1. Paul had a cool 28 with 14 assists with a couple rebounds and of course no turnovers again. The point god once again is showing why he’s considered to be a top point guard in this league and maybe in NBA history, Paul came up big in the second half with scoring or assisting in over half the Suns points in the second half.

  1. Trae Young

I put Trae Young on this list for the sole fact he basically hit the game winner to give the Hawks a fighting chance in this series, Trae did not necessarily have a good game but he did in all get the win and in the playoffs that’s what really matters. Ice Trae didn’t shoot very efficiently {42.9% FG, 33.3% 3PT} but did still have 24 points with 4 boards and 8 assists. The Hawks haven’t had some of their key pieces like Clint Capela and Lou Williams but still have found ways to win and be competitive for the most part.

  1. Grayson Allen

The Bucks dominated the Chicago Bulls with a 111-81 win last night to take a 2-1 series lead and wow was this a slap in the face for Bulls fans, after game 2 Bulls fans were optimistic about having a real shot in this series and Milwaukee just showed them the business, Grayson Allen was surprisingly the Bucks leading scorer with 22 points along with 6 boards to go with a steal and a block, with the Bucks being ahead most of the game the Bucks played a deep lineup giving the starters and the rotational players a break. Game 4 will be on Monday with a chance for Milwaukee to really put this series away.

NBA top 3 players of the night

This list is based on the games played on Thursday nights games, this list is not based on who had the most points, it’s about who had the best impact on the floor all things considered.

  1. Jalen Brunson

With another big win for the Dallas Mavericks, Mavericks Guard Jalen Brunson put on another show last night scoring 31 points and leading Dallas to another big win 126-118 taking the series lead 2-1 without Luka Doncic in the lineup. If i were Jason Kidd {coach of the Mavericks} i wouldn’t rush Luka back, id make sure he’s 100 percent and slowly put him into the lineup, the Mavericks look like they have the series locked down and thanks to Brunson he’s now emerging as a good number 2-3 option for this team.

  1. Nikola Jokic

Despite another loss for the Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic the soon to be back to back MVP will most likely be getting swept for the second year in a row in the playoffs, without stars Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr Jokic can’t do much with this remaining cast in Denver, Jokic last night had a solid 37, 18 and 5 with 3 steals but it still wasn’t enough to beat the red hot Golden State Warriors last night. The Nuggets will look to bounce back Sunday afternoon but this series is mostly considered over.

  1. Desmond Bane

The Grizzlies pulled off a historic 26 point comeback to take a 2-1 series lead, many Grizzlies players came up big last night but in my opinion Desmond Bane had the biggest impact last night leading the team in points with 26 but also having 6 boards, 2 assists, a steal and 2 blocks. Many would say Ja Morant had the biggest impact last night with his 18 point triple double but Ja had 7 turnovers making him not as efficient as many would have thought just looking at the box score. With the series already being chippy, the Grizzlies now have the series lead and the momentum heading into game 4 on Saturday.

Deebo Samuel Top 3 trade Destinations

The Multi Purpose Wideout has officially requested a trade from the San Francisco 49ers yesterday afternoon and will now be on the trade market as of today. After Christain Kruk blew away the wide receiver market for new deals some of the top wideouts have been cashing in like DaVante Adams, Tyreek Hill, and we’ll see what happens with A.J Brown and Terry McLaurin as they are looking to get new deals as Deebo Samuel is.

As free agency has gone along there’s been small rumblings as to what’s happening between the 49ers and Deebo for the future and well here we are, Deebo has officially requested a trade, now where will he land? This list will feature in my opinion the top 3 landing spots Deebo should want to go to if i was in his shoes.

  1. Indianapolis Colts

The Colts would be my #1 destination if i was Deebo for a couple reasons, 1. They’re not going to trade for you if you can’t agree on a contract extension so you’ll get your money 2. The Colts are a top 5 run organization in this league so there will be minimum drama or dysfunction 3. Indianapolis has a bright GM so you’ll always have pro bowl level players around you and 4. Last but not least he’s the key piece the Colts have been missing for a couple years, he’s a high impact player and can be used in multiple ways plus Deebo and Jonathan Taylor in the same backfield would cause headaches for opponents.

  1. Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers would be a great landing spot for Deebo for the fact that your playing with a four time MVP and a team whos been the #1 seed the last four years in a row. There is definitely some pros and cons going to Green Bay like some pros would be guaranteed playoffs every year, bright head coach and GM, reigning 2x MVP quarterback and be in the same backfield as Aaron Jones , cons though no owner, drama between the QB and organization every year, one of the coldest places to play, hard to get free agents, and probably couldn’t pay you top of the market.

  1.  Baltimore Ravens

Just Imagine the Ravens backfield with Lamar Jackson, Deebo Samuel, and J.K Dobbins, it would give opponents fits just having to play against that, Baltimore has been missing that #1 receiver for a long time and Deebo without a doubt fill that role perfectly and fit in seamlessly in that offense. Baltimore has yet to take that leap to true title contenders the last couple years despite Lamar Jackson playing at an elite level but adding Deebo to this roster would really boost Baltimore’s chances and give them a better chance winning this now much harder division.

NBA top 3 players of the night

This list is based off of the games played on Wednesday nights games, this list is not based off of who had the most points, it’s about who had the best impact on the floor all things considered.

  1. Joel Embiid

With Joel Embiid basically hitting the game winning shot in overtime against the Raptors in game 3 the 76ers won 104-101 to take a 3-0 lead in the series and look to close game 4 in Toronto on Saturday. Embiid dominated with 33, 13 and 2 with a block on high efficiency shooting and a big presence down low. With Harden not being the leading scorer Embiid has been huge for this team in these playoffs so far.

  1. Demar DeRozen

DeRozen and the Bulls tie up the series 1-1 and the Series now potentially wide open with injury to Kris Middleton of the Bucks, Middleton has a MCL Sprain and will undergo further testing but with Milwaukee’s second best player being out this gives the Bulls a fighting chance to steal a few games and maybe the series. DeRozen went off last night scoring 41 points with 7 boards and 4 assists with a steal and 2 blocks also. Chicago barely edged out the Bucks winning 114-110 but hey a win is a win.

  1. Giannis Antetokounmpo

Giannis may have lost this game but the series isn’t over, the series is only tied at 1-1 but Kris Middleton did go down with a MCL Sprain, so milwaukee may be out its second best player for a couple games but Giannis can get it done, last night he had a monster game scoring 33 points with 18 boards and 9 assist and to go with that a steal and 2 blocks. Considering the Bucks lost their second best player and only lost by 4 points i wouldn’t be so worried if i was a Bucks fan.

NBA top 3 players of the night

This list is based off of the games played on Monday nights games, this list is not based off of who had the most points, it’s about who had the best impact on the floor all things considered.

  1. Jimmy Butler

Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat once again blew out the Atlanta Hawks, winning 115-105 at home. Butler had one of his best playoff games in his career scoring 45 points with 5 boards, 5 assists and to go along with that 2 steals on the defensive end, Butler shot efficiently also {60% FG, 57.1% from 3PT} with also a +19 plus-minus. The Heat will now travel to Atlanta to play the Hawks, if Miami can split on the road this series is most likely to be over in 5 games if not 6 max.

  1. Brandon Ingram

Brandon Ingram and the Pelicans stun the Suns last night with a 125-114 win on the road to even the series up at 1 game a piece, Ingram led the pelicans with 37 points with a near triple double {37,11 and 9} with also a steal and a block. The Pelicans are massive underdogs in this series but definitely have enough firepower to take down the Suns or give them a run for their money.

  1. Devin Booker

Devin Booker and the Suns may have lost but for the simple fact Booker was having a fantastic game until he went down in the third quarter with a hamstring injury. Booker and the Suns were down 77-74 when Booker went down and he didn’t return for the rest of the game and no news has come back yet but Phoenix could be without Booker for at least a game so they better prepare for that. Devin was heating up shooting 12-19 before the injury and he’s a mini Klay Thompson in the fact that when he gets hot he burns like no other, we’ve seen Booker drop 70 on the now defensive player of the year Marcus Smart and I wouldn’t rule out Booker dropping 40 to 45 points by the end of this game if he stayed in.

NBA Top 3 players of last night’s games

This list is based off of the games played on Monday nights games, this list is not based off of who had the most points, it’s about who had the best impact on the floor all things considered.

  1. Jalen Brunson

Jalen Brunson just had the game of his life last night, becoming the first Dallas Mavericks player to have a 40 point playoff game with zero turnovers. Brunson had 41, 8 and 5 with 2 steals, Brunson also shot very efficiently {60% FG and 3PT}. Brunson was one of four Mavericks players to score in double digits leading Dallas to a much needed win before Luka Doncic returns.

  1. Stephen Curry

Last night was vintage Steph Curry, scoring 34 points on high efficiency and filling up the stat sheet. The Warriors dismantled the Denver Nuggets 126-106 taking a 2-0 lead in the series, Five Warriors scored in double digits but Curry was the main piece of success last night. Curry was very efficient, shooting 12-17 including 5-10 from 3 point land.

  1. Tyrese Maxey

Tyrese Maxey once again is on the list with another spectacular game, finishing with 23, 9 and 8 with a block and a steal, Maxey also shot 72.7% and 50% from 3 point land. Thanks to Maxey and Embiid handling the Raptors with a 112-97 win the 76ers take a 2-0 lead in the series heading to Toronto the Raptors really have to lock in these next two games at home if they want a shot at winning this series.

Denzel Ward and Browns Agree to contract extension

Denzel Ward and the Cleveland Browns have agreed to a massive five year contract extension worth $100.5 million with $71.25 million fully guaranteed. NFL Network insider Ian Rappaport reported Monday. This contract makes Ward the highest paid defensive back in NFL history just surpassing Rams DB Jalen Ramsey who signed a similar deal 2 years ago.

The two time pro bowler has been considered by pro football focus to be a top 5 corner in the league in highest coverage marks and one of the lowest completion percentages since he entered the league back in 2018. Ward’s main issue has been health considering he hasn’t yet played more than 13 games in a season, but on the brightside Ward does have another great player to fill in for his role at #1 CB in Greg Newsome ll when Denzel is out. With Ward being the #4 overall draft pick in 2018 by the Cleveland Browns it looks like he’ll be staying in Cleveland for the long haul unlike the other first round draft pick in 2018 by the Browns in Baker Mayfield who isn’t expected to stay with the team after this offseason.

Top 3 players from Easter Sunday playoff games

This list is only based off of the four NBA games played on Easter Sunday.

  1. Jayson Tatum

For the sole fact that Jayson Tatum hit the game winner against the Brooklyn Nets i have to put him at #1. Tatum was also the team leader in points, assists and was tied with Jalyen Brown in blocks, Tatum had a nice 31, 4 and 8 on efficient shooting. With four Celtics starters finishing with over 20 points it wasn’t hard to figure out this is a deep roster with Tatum and Brown as the lead pieces. This will be a back and fourth series but Celtics fans have to be quite happy with where they’re at right now all things considered.

  1. Chris Paul

The veteran point guard once again shows why he’s a top 3 point guard in this league, especially when the playoffs come around, Chris Paul led the Phoenix Suns to a game 1 victory over the 8th seed New Orleans Pelicans with a 30 point double double and filling up the stat sheet in the process. Five Suns players had double digit points {Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, Mikal Bridges and Cameron Johnson}, with Ayton leading the way in rebounding. Phoenix shot well from inside the arc but really struggled from beyond the arc just shooting 35.7% from 3pt but the Suns still cruised to an easy victory on Easter Sunday.

  1. Jimmy Butler

It was a hard pick between Jimmy Butler and Giannis Antetokounmpo, but considering the fashion that the Miami Heat blew out the Atlanta Hawks it had to be Jimmy Buckets. Butler made the most of his time on the court with the highest plus-minus of the game and also filling up the stat sheet with 21, 6 and 4 with 3 steals on a good field goal percentage, Butler did struggle from the free throw line shooting just 2-7 but it didn’t affect the game at all. The Hawks just had a bad night with nobody scoring over 17 points and Trae Young had a game to forget finishing with just 8 points on 1-12 shooting.
